executive function

Has anyone heard of any therapies directed at improving executive function? (that part of the brain that manages to do lists and prioritizing and keeping us on task). My high-functioning autistic son's E.F. was tested and came out to about 27% of normal. He is in college and this lack of management is hurting his performance rather drastically. It's hard to do assignments if you can't organize it, don't remember it (or only part), are frequently off-task, etc.

I have been looking online. Found lots of research talking about this problem being connected to autism, but not much on any solutions. This is going to be a big limiter on his independence, if I can't find a way to help him help himself.
