head swaying

My 7 year old sone diagnosed with PDD NOS sways his head continously...this inhibits his ability to focus and engage in any meaningful activity. In recent past, i have used the compression vest with some positive impact but wearing the vest, he lies down and starts to shake his head...please suggest any therapy / intervention that could help reduce this swaying. He does take epilex (5 ml twice a day) and sizodon tablet (1/2 tablet every night)....
