Exploring Community Recreation and Leisure Activities for Young Adults with Autism

Your voice is needed! Inviting young adults with autism to share their experiences with community recreational and leisure activities. A brief telephone interview only 35-45 minutes. Please contact Alex Taylor at Alexandria.taylor@students.jefferson.edu

There is limited research that includes opinions and experiences collected directly from young adults with autism. Much of the research on recreation and leisure for individuals with autism involves information collected from parents/caregivers or professionals. Our interview focuses on the importance of hearing the voices of young adults with autism. Information gained from the interviews will help benefit young adults with autism as it can improve community recreation and leisure access, supports, and services.
